This hand forged blade was made from 1084 High carbon steel. I use this steel because it can hold its very sharp edge for much longer than stainless steel. The polished blade is topped with forged scale texture at the top. This is what the steel looks like right off the anvil! I like to keep this texture because of its beauty, and the evidence of the manufacturing techniques.

The Handle is made from extremely hard and durable micarta. This material is made from stacking canvas infused with resin, creating a totally waterproof material perfect for knife handles

On the top spine of the blade I carved decretive file work grooves for added texture for the user, and ascetics.

This piece is a one of a kind, with only the best materials I had used for its creation.
