This blade was forged from a very symmetric ‘4 way’ mosaic damascus steel. This very exciting pattern was made from 1084, and 15n20 high carbon steel. These steels were chosen due to their high performance as cutting tools, creating a sharper edge that stays sharp longer.

This friction folding knife actually has no mechanical lock to keep the blade in place. Instead a tab is forged at the top of the blade, that goes under the hand during use, so there is no way it can unfold. This tab also doubles a pocket clip.

The handle is actually made from sheet steel, folded over like a taco shell. On either side of the casing is very beautiful, highly figured stabilized maple heartwood. This wood is a work of art in itself. The handle is highly polished and will turn heads for sure when you pull this knife from your pocket.
